Readeck

Create the client in Pocket ID

1. In Pocket ID, open Administration → OIDC Clients and click Add OIDC Client.
2. Enter a name such as Readeck and add the callback URL https://readeck.example.com/login/oidc.
3. Click Create and copy the Client ID and the Client secret. The client secret is only shown once.
4. On the client’s Access tab, select the groups that may sign in under Allowed User Groups, or choose All Users.

Configure Readeck

Add the following to your Docker Compose file or .env file for Readeck. You usually need to give the Pocket ID URL without a trailing slash.

Example directly in compose.yaml:

  READECK_AUTH_OIDC_PROVIDERS_1_URL: https://id.example.com
  READECK_AUTH_OIDC_PROVIDERS_1_CLIENT_ID: <client-id>
  READECK_AUTH_OIDC_PROVIDERS_1_CLIENT_SECRET: <client-secret>

Example using an .env file:

READECK_AUTH_OIDC_PROVIDERS_1_NAME=PocketID

READECK_AUTH_OIDC_PROVIDERS_1_CLIENT_ID=<client-id>
