Create the client in Pocket ID

1. In Pocket ID, open Administration → OIDC Clients and click Add OIDC Client.
2. Enter a name such as Calibre-Web Automated and add the callback URL https://calibre-web-automated.example.com/login/generic/authorized.
3. Click Create and copy the Client ID, the Client secret and the OIDC Discovery URL. The client secret is only shown once.
4. On the client’s Access tab, select the groups that may sign in under Allowed User Groups, or choose All Users.

Configure Calibre-Web Automated through the UI

1. In Calibre-Web Automated, open Admin Settings → Edit Basic Configuration.
2. Under Feature Configuration → Login type, select Use OAuth (requires HTTPS).
3. Fill in the fields:
   • OAuth Metadata URL: the OIDC Discovery URL from Pocket ID.
   • OAuth Client ID: the Client ID from Pocket ID.
   • OAuth Client Secret: the Client secret from Pocket ID.
4. Save the settings and sign in with OAuth to test it.
